Lo squillo di tromba diede inizio allo spettacolo

lo spettatore si mise ad osservare dal suo scranno

giunsero di corsa gli attori sulla scena

per eseguire un'antica danza sempre eguale

eppur ogni volta diversa da sè stessa

colpi di tamburo ritmavano i passi

e lontani canti accompagnavan i balli

lo spettatore guardava senza batter ciglio

voci tonanti si levavan dal palco

e una musica metallica faceva armonia

lo spettatore ascoltava immoto

due drappi in cima ad aste stavano ai lati

mentre fra essi la danza turbinava

lo spettatore attendeva tranquillo

un'asta si spezzò, e un danzatore prese il drappo

la tromba diede l'ultimo squillo.

molti attori lasciarono il palco

altri rimasero distesi.

lo spettatore rimase a guardare

-un tempo anch'io ero attore

bevenuti amici miei

molti nuovi spettatori.

The trumpet ring let the spectacle begin

the spectator stood, observing from his place

the actors came, running on the scene

to execute an ancient dance, always the same

but every time different from itself

drum hits gave the rhytm of the steps

and far songs accompained the dance

the spectator observed withou even blinking

thunder voices came from the scene

and metal music created harmony

the specator listened unmoved

two flags, top of poles were at tehe sides

while between 'em the dance rose on

the spectator waited quietly

a pole brake, a dancer loose his flag

and the trumpet did its last ring

many actors left the scene

others remain lasid down

the specator stod looking

- once i too was an actor

welcome my frends

many new spectators
